Wilber Mendez

Wilber grew up in Eagle County, Colorado, where he began his medical career as a pharmacy technician. This knowledge and experience empowered Wilber to help people on a deeper level. He pursued his Bachelor’s in nursing at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. While in nursing school, Wilber found a passion for behavioral health and the importance of providing culturally competent and patient-centered care in both English and Spanish.

The significance of behavioral health and its disparity in our community fueled Wilber’s desire to earn his Master’s in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing at Regis College in Massachusetts. Wilber aspires to provide care to individuals aged 12 and above and is eager to make an impact in our community. In his spare time, Wilber enjoys spending time with his family, snowboarding, and giving back to those who are ostracized by society.
